If you look on the forums, many others are dealing with the same problem so I'm thinking this is something potentially beyond our control so I'll wait and see if people find a way to fix this or if Blizzard ends up doing something to fix this and then maybe I'll pick up the game again. Blizzard support just kept giving me the same canned responses with no fix in sight and it just seemed like there was a lack of care on Blizzard's end about this issue, so I was just tired and done with doing all this work to try and fix the problem. I actually asked for and received a refund so I'm done. I've used that exact same page and method to make sure nothing else was running, but that didn't help. If nothing else, at least some solidarity may help if I can't find a fix! I apologize for the wall of text and posting like this here, but I don't know where else to turn. Occasionally upon exiting a game I get an error stating Error. If I attempt to mute allies, the mute option is grayed out. If I go to the social tab, it indicates that I am in the chat and if I attempt to exit and re-enter, it does nothing. I never hear anyone else and don't see their icons in the top left for when they are speaking. When I hit push-to-talk I never see an icon in the top left indicating that my microphone is now on. Blizzard forum support hasn't helped, opening a ticket hasn't helped, so I am turning to you guys and wondering if anyone here is running into the same issues or has any clue what the problem may be?įor a little more info: It seems when I enter games, although I have auto-join for team voice chat on, I no longer get the message for joining or leaving voice.
Now, with release the problem still persists for me and I've seen a few others post on the forums about it, trying to get help to get it fixed.
I checked the forums and some people not being able to use voice chat was part of the "known issues" for the bug forums. Then comes open beta and the issues persisted.
I posted about it in the OW forums and found many others with similar issues and figured it was beta and maybe it would be fixed. I couldn't speak to teammates or hear them. I was using it and it worked perfectly fine prior to that from January to March and then in April, it stopped.

Hello! So I was in the closed beta for a while and found that at some point, due to a patch or something maybe, my voice chat ceased functioning.
